All book trailers I make have some amount of special effects, animation and/or fancy scene transitions. This adds a little magic to enhance engagement.
Adding a voiceover is a very emotive way to engage your potential readers. All you need to do is choose a package that includes a voiceover to take your trailer to the next level.
You have the choice of adding text headings for added emphasis and so that when a video auto plays silently on a platform like Facebook, readers can still read the main points.
A carefully selected audio track, to match the essence of your story is included with every book trailer I create. Music holds the key to the heart, so I take this part of my job very seriously.
Included in the fixed price are all the royalty free stock video clips and photos I use. I research and select the best clips to match your story essence. You also have the option of sending me your own photos or videos to include.
At the end of each clip you can have a call to action with your book cover or mock up if you have one, and details about where readers can buy your book, like your website or amazon link etc.

Step 1. You will receive and email with a link to this detailed questionnaire, so I can best match the essence of your book with visuals and audio.
Step 2. Once I have your answers, and you’ve also provided any extra files to include like your book cover and logo etc I can start.
The exact length varies from video to video depending on what needs to be said. The pacing, the genre, the visuals and voiceover all play a part in the final length. The most common length will be between one and 2 minutes, but on occasion they can be between 2 and 3. The sweet spot for video engagement is between 1 and 2 minutes, because it gives you enough time to say what is needed, engage the reader to want to know more, but then get to the CTA call to action at the end before they loose interest. That’s why sometimes even shorter videos have better click through rates. Action & adventure books tend to be shorter with lots of visual action, whereas emotional and deep books tend to need longer trailers. So, in summary, length all depends on the kind of book you have written, and I will do my best to find the perfect length to match its essence for maximum engagement.
Each package comes with an included amount of revisions. Generally, this is a group of a few minor revisions. For example, if you have the package that includes 1 set of revisions, after I send you the first version of the video, you can email me back with one lot of changes. Usually this is only a few minor changes as I’ve created the detailed initial questionnaire to minimise the need for any revisions. I always aim to have 100% client satisfaction.
Both. I usually do the female voiceovers myself and if you’d like a male voiceover, I can also arrange that for you by employing some of the talent I usually work with. You also have the option of sending me your own voiceover to include.
Yes. But if you send video clips, please have them edited first to the lengths you’d like or send me an email with your editing requirements, and I will send you a quote.
I’m usually quite fast and have trailers back within a week of receiving the questionnaire back. Depending on what day of the week you send me it, sometimes I’ll have it back to you within days!
